HDMI Extender over Dual Cat 6 - Receiver

This is for the receiver only.

For use with all our dual cat 6 devices such as matrix switches, hdmi repeaters and splitters.

This device extends a Full HD HDMI signal up to 50m using two Cat 5e or Cat 6 cables.

Works with Cat 5e or Cat 6 cables but longer distances will be acheived with Cat 6.

IR passthough (transmit and receive) is supported for remote control.

We have extensively tested this device at 40m over Cat6 and the performance is rock solid.


This device has the following features:

  • Each set includes one transmitter and one receiver.
  • Using dual STP/UTP LAN cable (Cat5E/6) to acheive long range transmission of HDMI signals
  • UTP cable termination follows the standard of IEEE-568B.
  • Transmission distance reaches up to 50 meters under the video format of 1080P.
  • Auto-adjustment of feedback, equalization and amplification.
  • HDMI V1.4
  • 3D supported
  • Signaling rates up to 2.25Gbits in support of 1080P display.
  • HDCP compliant.
  • With LED indicators to show the power and video signal status.
  • Built in ESD protection.
  • Mounting ears supplied.
  • Transfer Infrared control signal together with the HDMI signal.
  • One IR target and one IR emitter are included.
  • EDID setting function, to ensure the best compatibility. 
  • Power is required at both ends via the supplied plug packs
